Reading Response to Horton Hatches the Egg

I liked Horton because he meant what said and he said what he meant and an elephant's faithful 100 per cent. I didn't like Mayzie because she is lazy 100 PER CENT. I love Dr. Seuss books because he's always using tongue twisters in his sentences and rhyming words.The message of the book is that horton made a promise and he kept it so he was rewarded for his effort. But Mayzie didn't derserve a bird because she decided she'd take a vacation.
